Sezana Terminal - Rail track rehabilitation

Project included works on rail track intersection at Sezana Terminal. The works were done on rail geometry regulations of tracks 106, 107 and 113. For rehabilitation works survey points were obtained from current tracks. Points were than precessed in FERROVIA software with special tools for data processing of differences between designed alignment and surveyed points of current track position. Aditional insurance points were also measured for alignment reference. Data were than labeled in drawing and exported for use in tamping machines.

Port of Koper - FREIGHT STATION

The Port of Koper is the most important rail fraight station in Slovenija. In this project space for designing new rail position and time were very limited.

 

Project work involved deviation of outside rails to the inner position due to planned construction of concrete pillars for new crossover road. The design project was realised using FERROVIA software.

Using Ferrovia's axis tools lateral rail axes were moved slightly to the inner position of the railway to enable enough profile space for construction of support pillars. Due to rail deviations one switch also had to be repositioned and new vertical alignment was updated. Appropriate cross sections of moved axes were also redesigned.

Ferrovia proved to include powerfull tools to meet detailed design criteria.
