Example of Layout view in Ferrovia
|
Layout
The Layout module enables preparation of surveying plans or templates, electronic instrument data conversion, editing of points with attributes, links, surveying and other symbols. Data import/export is also supported. Ferrovia supports Civil 3D DTM. Layout module also enables volume calculation, element length calculations, elevation and slope interpolations, parcel workout and element listing.

Axes design with Ferrovia
|
Axes
Axes module allows horizontal alignment definition with three different tools; with tangent polygon, stick-method or auxiliary elements. It also allows main elements definition based on existing railway track data which is used for rehabilitation. Ferrovia also features predefined catalogue of switches and tools for editing. Axis and cross-section changes are fully automated and supported with projections on DTM with cut/fill drawing. Axes module also implements 3D visualization tools, axis and points data export and integration with Canalis sewage-design software.

|

Longitudinal sections design with Ferrovia
|
Longitudinal sections
Using the longitudinal sections module user can edit axis vertical course with powerful tools for insertion/saving of vertical alignment and curves. Detailed editing of vertical alignments, calculation of cant, labeling and data export is also available. The longitudinal section includes specific tools for railroad maintenance and optimization according to surveyed railway track data or axis data. In this sector special attention will be dedicated in future development of Ferrovia.

Example 2 of Cross-sections design with Ferrovia
|
Cross-sections
The Cross-sections module enables automatic fitting of cross-sections. This module comprises a library containing preset cross-sections for quicker and easier editing. Individual editing of the cross-section elements is also supported. Cross section module includes volume calculation, additional terrain drawing, saving/inserting blocks, and other specific tools.

Railway reconstruction and maintenance tools
|
Rail maintenance tools
Ferrovia is a powerful tool for track maintenance data analyzing and processing. For rail geometry maintenance purpose special tools are included in Ferrovia software package. Points acquisition, processing and data labeling in CAD drawing can be done plus export tools for data use ion tamping machines is supported. These tools already proved to be vital in accurate in fast maintenance project works and also time saving. Track capacity can be therefore maintained at its high end. Other tools for rail infrastructure maintenance are also part of Ferrovia software.

Example of a train station visualization with RDV
|
RDV - Rapid Design Visualisation
RDV is an application developed specifically for use with Autodesk's new generation of 3D AutoCAD based products. RDV with Ferrovia enables user to create a fully interactive visualization environment directly from 3D DWG files. Using RDV designers and mapping specialists can easily create drive through simulations, flyovers and interactive simulations for rail, road, urban development, subdivisions, underground infrastructure and interchanges and many other complex land development and GIS analysis projects.
